The Certo Drug Test Hack – Does it Work?

Certo will supposedly make a urine sample clean from traces of THC metabolites. But does it work, and should you do it? I will tell you about the pros and cons.

The best way to prepare for a drug test will always be to stop smoking weed in good time. This depends on a lot of factors, but the biggest one is how often you smoke. If the test date is in a long time, try to stop in good time.

A urine drug test will try to detect a THC metabolism product known as THC-COOH. The best tests test for this byproduct because it stays in your system the longest.

Time Frames for Urine Drug Tests

THC-COOH will show up on urine drug tests with these timeframes. Also known as the detection window or detection period.

• Approx. 3 days for occasional users
• Approx. 5-7 days for moderate users
• Approx. 10-15 days for chronic users
• Approx. 30 days for chronic heavy users

The Certo Drug test method aims to eliminate THC-COOH from your urine sample.

The Certo method will likely only work for occasional users.

How does it work?

Certo Pectin or Sure Jell is often used to pass a drug test, but how?

Certo has a high content of carbohydrates and fiber.

Carbohydrates can temporarily boost the insulin levels inside your body and cause you to store energy calories instead of using them. In short, you will use the energy you consumed today instead of using stored energy.

THC metabolites are fat-soluble toxins that can be accessed when needed. Generally, your body uses both stored and consumed energy. The goal of the Certo is to stop using stored energy in order to come out clean.

So, Certo acts as an agent to spike insulin levels to prevent the burning of fat cells in the body, and this, in turn, can make your urine clean for a few hours. In addition, Certo will help you mix detoxifying agents like minerals and vitamins in your body. This can also be a huge advantage during a drug test.

Other sources claim Certo binds to the THC metabolites in your intestines and prevents it from moving into the blood. Fewer THC metabolites in your blood results in fewer THC metabolites in your urine.

NOTE. Certo or Sure Jell will not remove any toxins from your body. In the best-case scenario, it will make your urine drug test come out negative in a short time frame.

This Certo method also requires Gatorade, creatine, and vitamin B.

• Gatorade will fill you up with minerals and vitamins to restore the normal gravity of urine.
• Vitamine B will help with color.
• Creatine will restore or maintain creatine levels.

Step By Step How to do it.

What Will I Need?

• Two packs of Certo liquid fruit pectin
• Gatorade or Powerade. Any electrolyte drink could work, but I would go for these.
• Creatine ethyl ester supplement powder. Creatine monohydrate could work but works slower, so you will need more time before your drug test.
• Vitamin B Supplements

Where Can I Get The Best Certo Liquid Fruit Pectin?

While there are other brands that do the same, I would personally use the original. 

Panel Drug Tests – Occasional Users

This probably works for occasional drug users doing panel drug tests.

• Mix and drink a bottle of Gatorade with a single pack of Certo two hours before the test.
• Urinate at least two times after you finish your bottle of GatoradeCerto.
• Drink another bottle of only Gatorade 1 hour pre-test.

Lab Tests or Regular Users

This might work for lab tests or panel tests if you’re a regular user.

• (OPTIONAL) Mix and drink a pack of Certo and Gatorade and drink it the night before.
• Take 10 grams of creatine monohydrate 6 hours before your test or 10 grams of creatine ethyl ester 3 hours beforehand. Mix with water before consuming.
• Eat a light meal approximately 3 hours before the drug test, with 200mg of vitamin B3.
• Also, drink 27 oz of Gatorade or Powerade every hour for 3 hours before the drug testing occurs.
• 2 hours before the drug test, mix your second pack of Certo with Gatorade, shake well, and drink up.
• A final step before going is to test yourself with a home testing kit. You might pass at home and still fail at the lab. Just saying.

If you know you’re going to a drug test in a while, I would recommend doing dry runs at home to ensure you’re doing everything correctly. Also, if you know you’re going to a drug test, stop doing drugs at least until the test is over.

Downsides of The Certo Gatorade Method

It will likely only work for occasional users, who generally have time to just stop smoking and pass a drug test (urine test) all-natural. An all-natural detox is by far the best way of passing.

YOU should test the method at home several times to ensure it works for you. As stated, it might work at home but not at the test center. While we’re here, you should invest in some creatine test strips to ensure the levels are where they need to be (normal range).

There are many ways to cheat a drug test but not pass it. You will not pass if your urine is seemingly unnormal.

The time frame that you’re clean is not large. This is because this method contains no enzyme inhibitors. Enzyme inhibitors will block the liver’s enzymes and slow the transfer of THC into the urine.

ALSO, Certo is not meant for this sort of consumption and can cause constipation. This is not fun. Please consult a doctor before doing this. Remember, they have doctor-patient confidentiality.

• Certo Drug Test Reviews

I couldn’t find any reliable sources online that has indeed tried and succeeded or tried and failed the certo detox method. People who pass drug tests don’t want them shared online, I guess. This goes both ways, couldn’t find anyone that tried and failed.

• Mouth Swab Drug Test – Oral Drug Test

The Certo method will not work for mouth swab drug tests.

BUT, mouth swab tests usually only detect weed from 3 days back. But in my research, employers usually do the mouth swab test on surprise. A saliva drug test is also impressively accurate.

• Hair Drug Test – Hair Follicle Test

The Certo method will not work for hair follicle tests.

Hair drug tests are not hard to pass. In order to pass a hair follicle drug test, shave everything. It might be a huge pain in the ass and will leave you looking quite funny for a while.

• Blood Tests

The Certo method will not work for a blood test.

• State Drug Testing Laws

If you feel like you’re fucked. Look up your state laws regarding drug testing. You might get out of it scot-free if the testing was illegal or done in a nonapproved way.
